Question # 1:

What type of glue works with your kits?

Any type of glue will work. We have not found no types

that does not work. Granvillebuildings uses super glue for

starting and then use Weldbond and Elmer's mixed.

Question # 2:

What type of paint will your kits take?

Any type of paint will work. Oils or Acrylic and also

stains will also work. We did testing on the glues and

paints on our models and wood stain even works on

our kits. Granvillebuildings uses Acrylic's and Dr.

Bens stains.

Question # 3:

Are your kits good for kit bashing?

Yes. Most of our pieces have straight sides or on

a 45 degree angle. If you like kit bashing, before

you order the fronts from us, you will need to let

us know which one you need.

Question # 4:

What size O scale do Granvillebuildings model in?

Granvillebuildings model in 1/4 inch to the ft. 1:48.

Question # 5:

What is the easiest way to found out what new kits

Granvillebuildings have out from time to time?

The easiest way is to sign up to become a member.

Granvillebuildings will e-mail all of our members

when we come out with new kits or accessories.

Question # 6:

What materials are in your kits?

Our main body of all of our buildings are made

from "RESIN " ( type of plastic ). Most of our

kits have bass wood for supports and also some

kits will have bass wood for building along with

the main body.

Question # 7:

How good are your instructions with your kits?

All of our kits comes with fully detailed

instructions and most will have pictures and also

drawings to help put the kit together. Most of

our kits are 5 pages long and a couple are 15

pages. They take you from the very beginning

to the weathering of the kit, just like what is

on our web-site and our labels.

Question # 7:

I have not seen your kits on E-bay lately. Are

you still selling on E-bay?

No. We stopped selling on E-bay on July 3

2009. We are now getting into Hobby shops.

If you have a hobby shop that is near you and

does not carry our line of kits, you can ask

them to get intouch with us or send us the

information.

Question # 8:

Before I buy your kits, how long will it be

before I receive them?

We have a 2 week delay time on shipping

out the kits. 99 % of the time, we ship the

kits out the very next day. We only have

this so that doing busy times we have the

time to produce the kit and the customer

will know how long it may take to receive

their kits.

Question # 9:

If I have a building that I am looking for

someone to make for me, will

Granvillebuildings do it?

Most of the time. Please get intouch with

us and send us pictures of all sides and every

Monday doing our meeting, we will decide if

we can produce it. If we do take the job, it

will take 2 months before we get them into

production.

Question # 10:

I have worked with resin before and some

of the other manufactures that I have

dealed with, had some walls that were

warped in the kit. I had to throw the kit

away. If I buy a kit from you and find a

piece like that, what can I do or what

will Granvillebuildings do?

If you buy one of our kits and find a

piece inside that is warped, you can run

warm water over it and bend it back to

shape. After you have the shape, lay it

down on a flat surface to dry and you

may want to put something heavy on it.

If you are not satified with doing this,

just email us and we will replace the

piece ( s ) for free. No question ask.
